This is a complete case study of UI/UX mobile design and build for a concept project – “Shappy” shopping application.
Problem
Creating an account in many shopping apps can be a tedious and frustrating process for users. Common issues include lengthy sign-up forms, mandatory verification steps, and the need to remember multiple passwords. These hurdles often result in incomplete registrations, user drop-off, and a negative first impression of the app.
Solution
Our shopping app simplifies account creation with a user-friendly design, minimal sign-up requirements, and SSO/social media login options. Biometric authentication and easy password recovery enhance security. To prevent drop-offs, the personalized shopping survey is separate from signup and accessible later via the profile menu, with reminders through pop-ups. AI tailors product recommendations based on user preferences.
